Coffee Filter Shamrock Craft

This craft was a great way to use up some old coffee filters that I had lying around. Follow these directions and you can make several shamrocks you can hang up all over your house to decorate for St. Patrick's Day. They look really nice hanging in the window.

Instructions:
Cover your work surface with newspaper or paper towels layered on wax paper. Set a coffee filter on your work surface. Paint the coffee filter green using watercolors. If you prefer, you can water down tempera paint and use that instead of watercolors. Let the paint dry.

Once the paint is dry, fold your coffee filter in half and cut out a shamrock shape. If you want a pattern to follow, use this coloring book page.
