Using the pencil, draw the first diamond in the center with the point starting at the bridge of the nose of the skull. This will make it easier for drawing out the rest of the pattern. If you want to cover the entire skull in the harlequin pattern, keep drawing, if you want to do a partial cover, stop where desired.
Trace over the pencil lines with the fine tip Sharpie.
