- Age Guideline: 5 Years and Up
- Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)
The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Old nylons
- Saw dust
- Grass seed
- Small rubber bands
- Craft Foam
- Wiggle Eyes
- Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Scissors
- Small dish
Instructions:
Put grass seed in the toe of the nylon (this will be the top of the head), then add sawdust. Add enough sawdust until you get whatever size you want your head to be. Close the opening using a rubber band.
Use rubber bands to make ears and nose by wrapping it around small 'balls' of sawdust. Cut small lips out of craft foam and glue them in place along with the wiggle eyes.
Once you have your geo dude or dudette looking how you want it, place it in a small bowl with water and watch your it as it sprouts hair.
