  • Age Guideline: 6 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

Instructions:
Wipe down your terra cotta pot with a damp cloth and let dry completely.

Paint the clay pot black. Once the paint is dry, turn the clay pot upside-down and paint on a mouth. Once all your paint is dry, spray it with the clear acrylic sealer.

Glue on the wiggle eyes (if you prefer, you can also paint on the eyes before you use the clear acrylic sealer). Cut 4 pieces of pipe cleaner, each about 5-inches long. Glue four on each side of the spider. Let the glue dry.

Once the glue is dry, bend the pipe cleaners for the desired effect. Your clay pot spider is now done!
