Styrofoam Spider Craft
How to Make an easy Spider Craft

Melissa explains how to make a spider using styrofoam balls and a few other supplies.

  • Age Guideline: 2 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 20 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Cut the 4 chenille stems in half. Push four chenille stem pieces into each side of the styrofoam ball. Once you have four on each side sticking straight out, bend each chenille stem in half so the spider stands up on its own. Glue wiggly eyes to the front and you have a friendly, spider. This simple craft is especially good for toddlers and preschoolers!
