This Tin Man was made with: a thrift store hoodie spray painted silver, a hole was cut in the top for the funnel, and the sleeves were replaced with shiny silver material. A bow tie from the thrift store was also painted silver, the oil can was a flea market find, rubber gloves painted, the pants are the same material as the sleeves, the shoes & socks were also spray painted silver. The body is aluminum duct work bought at Home Depot with bolts screwed into it.
... What you don't see is an air line that runs from a compressed air can (the kind you use to clean your computer key board) that is in his glove. It runs up to the funnel that is filled with baby powder. One press of a button and smoke comes out the top (like it does in his dance in the movie)."
