Heart Counting Game

Here are some directions for a simple game that can be made and enjoyed by everyone.

  • Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Materials Needed:

Instructions:
Cut larger heart shapes out of construction paper. Cut the hearts in half. On one half of the heart, write a number. On the other half of the heart, place a corresponding amount of small stickers. instead of stickers, you can also cut small hearts out of contrasting paper and glue them onto the heart half.

To play the game, mix up all of the puzzle pieces and then try to match them up again. You can also flip them all upside down, mix them up, and take turns flipping up pairs and trying to make matches (like a game of concentration).
