By starting our search early, we got a lot of these large vases/jars at garage sales and also at craft stores when we had 50% off coupons. Once they were all washed, we used glue dots to secure a piece of ribbon around the vase. My daughter then printed out the name of the candy on white cardstock. We cut them out and mounted the white cardstock rectangles onto yellow cardstock and then used glue dots to stick the labels onto the ribbon.
My daughter's wedding colors were black and white with some yellow so she chose all yellow candy for her candy bar. You used a few different online candy sites to order exactly what we wanted:
Compare prices from each site and look at their shipping requirements. Most importantly, don't order the candy too early or too late! We got ours about 2 weeks ahead of time and stored them in our cool basement near a dehumidifier!
