Name of Project

Christmas Paper Wreath

Ages This Project is Suitable For

10 - up

Approximate Time Required to Complete This Project

3+ hours

Materials Needed

Straw wreath

Scrap booking paper

Hot glue

Pencil

Instructions

Take your scrap booking paper and cut strips. I usually cut with 1-inch or 1/2-inch strips. You can cut any size you prefer.

Depending on the style of wreath I am making I sometimes take the cut strip, and fold it in half then cut it again. I take the cut paper and curl it with a pencil. You can curl it however you like. Then I hot glue the paper all over the wreath until you cannot see any straw.

You can use straw or foam wreaths. I prefer the straw because I feel it gives the wreath more volume.

And there you have it! A beautiful paper wreath!

Tips and Tricks

  • When curling the paper with a pencil, you can curl it as tight or as loose as you like.
