Materials Needed
finger paint paper
red finger paint
yellow finger paint
brown construction paper
green pipe cleaner
Instructions
Cut out a pumpkin stem from the brown paper.
Curl green pipe cleaner around your finger.
Put red and then yellow finger paint on paper and let children mix the colors to make orange and ask them to try and make a pumpkin shape.
When they are finished with their pumpkin painting, add the stem and pipe cleaner to the paper and you have a pumpkin.
I don't cut mine out, but you can if you want.
Tips and Tricks
- The construction paper will stick right to the wet paint.
- If you stick the pipe cleaner to the stem before hand, it makes it easier because you stick it right on the wet paint no glue needed.
