Materials Needed

drop cloth, orange spray paint, black arcylic paint, fine paint brush, baby food jars,green raffia or ribbon, tea candles, hot glue gun

Instructions

Make sure your baby food jar is clean and dry. Then spray paint the outside of the jar with the orange spray paint, while sitting upside down on the drop cloth. Let dry completely. Then turn the jar right side up and using the fine paint brush and black paint, create your jack-o lantern face. Finally, either tie raffia around the top of the jar or hot glue some raffia around the top edge of the jar. Drop in a tea candle or led candle and you have a cute recycled pumpkin or jack o latern

Tips and Tricks

  • Make sure to spray the paint on at a little bit of a distance or you will have globs and running in the paint.
  • If tying raffia around the top and using a real candle make sure that the ends are cut short to prevent fires.
