Paper bags, garbage bags
Instructions
Boil 5 cups water and 1 cup flour. Cook and stir until it starts to boil. Boil for a few minutes, stirring often. Crinkle brown paper bags and tear them into 1" strips. Use a garbage bag and fill it with brown bags that have not been torn or plastic bags make it in a shape of a pumpkin - including the stem. Use the paper bags that have been torn in strips 1", dip them in flour mixture, and then wrap them around the bag forming a pumpkin.
We did this at our Halloween party and the kids were entertained for quite awhile painting and gluing things to their pumpkins. I had one left, and I sprayed it "copper " and put it with all of my other pumpkins on the top of my cabinets. This project is affordable and fun for kids.
