Smaller clay pots can be used to hold:
- Candy
- Candles
- Individual Coffee, Tea, or Cocoa Packets
- Pens and a Small Notepad
- Potpourri
- Mail Polish and a Small Manicure Set
It is helpful to have a theme or special occasion in mind when creating larger clay pot gift baskets. You should also keep in mind hobbies and activities the gift recipient likes. For example:
- Decorate with pastel colors and fill with bottles, rattles, bibs, etc. for a baby shower gift
- For someone who enjoys cooking, add kitchen utensils, a cookbook, special spices, etc.
- Fill with bathroom needs such as hand lotion, fancy soap, bath oil, etc.
- A pot with garden tools, a magazine, seed packets, etc. would be a nice gift for an avid gardener.
