Flower Baby Magnet

By , About.com Guide

Jessica explains how to make a fun magnet using a silk flower, wooden bead, and a few other supplies.

Materials:

  • 1 Silk rose bud flower
  • Hot glue gun and sticks
  • 1 Wood ball (about 1-inch)
  • Piece of pink or blue ribbon
  • Package of doll hair curls (or yarn)
  • Magnet
  • Tiny bottle or rattle (about 1" in size - found at craft stores)

Instructions:
Take the flower bud and turn it so that the bottom, point end, is up. Hot glue the wood bead to the point. Make a small bow using the pink or blue ribbon, and glue the bow under the head. Glue the bottle or rattle the the front so it looks like the baby is holding it. Use a black or blue marker to make two eyes. Glue a piece of magnet to the back and you have a cute baby to stick to your ridge or to use at a baby shower!
