Displaying Christmas Cards - Door Ribbon and Bow
Nancy Turner explains how she displays her Christmas cards using ribbon!

Materials Needed:

  • 8 Yards of wide, holiday-colored ribbon (might need more or less, depending on the doorway size)
  • 1 twist tie or any kind of thin wire
  • Christmas Cards
  • Stapler
Instructions:
Cut off 2 yards of ribbon and make into a bunch of loopy folds. Secure tightly in the back with the twist tie. Arrange the loops to make a bow.

Fold the remaining ribbon in half to find the middle. At that point, attach it to the bow with the rest of the twist tie.

Secure the bow in the middle of a doorway and loop some ribbon over each edge of the doorway - and secure. Let the rest fall down each side. Cut the ends at a nice angle.

Each time you get a Holiday Card, start stapling them, from the inside so that you can still read them, all the way down the side ribbons. Kids can do the stapling.

This looks very nice when it's empty and also while it's being filled up.
