Miss America Halloween Costume

You can wear an old bridesmaid or prom dress. Check out your local thrift shops or ask friends if you do not have one. Make a sash using a piece of scrap fabric or extra wide ribbon. Write Miss America and the year with glue and sprinkle with glitter. Add a tiara, fancy costume jewelry, white gloves, and fancy shoes.

For a funny twist, write the date on the sash several years in the past and dress up as an old lady!
