Carol explains, "I got 13 3x5 index cards and cut them in half. I then wrote the capital letter on one side of the halved card. On the other side I wrote the lower-case version of the letter (starting with A, of course, and in a large black felt pen). I continued through the alphabet all the way to Z. When I had all the cards complete, I punched a hole at the top left corner of each card on the capital letter side. Finally, I put a key ring through all the cards, so they're all linked together and my daughter can carry them wherever she goes."
These can be used to teach the alphabet, phonics, numbers, etc.
