How to Make Alphabet Blocks
Make Your Own Printable Alphabet Blocks

Use this printable template and follow these directions to make your own alphabet blocks.

  • Age Guideline: 6 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

 

Materials Needed:

Print this block template onto your heavy paper or cardstock. You can use plain paper or fancy paper. If your paper has a 'right' and 'wrong' side make sure you print the template on the wrong side of your paper.

Cut out your block template and color and decorate the side that will be the outside of your block using crayons, markers, or anything else you want.

Fold on each dotted line toward the wrong side of the paper. You should be able to easily tell how to construct the box. Put a dab of glue onto each short tab and tuck them into place. Let dry!
