Wall-e Halloween Costume

From Jenny: "This is the Wall-e costume that I made for my 3 1/2 year old. He helped me paint the box so he thinks the project is 'really cool'. The picture was taken while I was doing the final touches so the shorts and short sleeve t-shirt will be replaced by a gray sweat shirt, jeans, socks and tennis shoes. He will carry a small red cooler to put his candy in, similar to the one Wall-e used to put his treasures in. The total cost of the project was about $20 until I saw the Wall-e robot arm at the toy store. Now the costume cost about $30, but now I don't have to worry with making his arms and my son is having a blast with it. It took me two evenings to make it because I wanted to make sure the paint was dry. If you can't sew, it will take you much less time. The foam gives the tracks the 3-d look but you could use the cardboard flaps and make them if you want to cut the cost. Either way it sure beats the $70-$150 if you buy it!"

If you would like to make this costume, Jenny shared the directions here.
