The Bottom Line

I have not yet made a clock, but now I feel confident and inspired to make my own clock using the techniques and projects shared in this book. This book is full of creative ways to construct personalized clocks using fabric, paper, or both together. While knowing basic sewing and quilting techniques are helpful for making some of the clocks in this book, it is not mandatory and they are a great way to learn these techniques making smaller projects. Not only would the projects in this book make personalized household decor, they would also make fabulous gifts.

Keeping with the format of the Fast, Fun & Easy series of books (more listed below), this book has great tips and hints scattered throughout it. These highlighted boxes offer fast hints, fun alternatives, and easy suggestions. These features, along with the easy-to-follow, step-by-step directions and colored photos, make your clock crafting experience more pleasurable and creative!

Besides being functional, the projects shared in this book are fun and versatile. They are all so unique that picking one favorite is nearly impossible. I love the dimensional, layered clocks and also the shaped clicks. There are so many possibilities that you too will probably have a hard time finding just one favorite.
