Guide Review - Fully Woolly

If you are a girl or know a girl who is interested in learning any of these classic crafts, with a new spin, this book is a great resource. Not only does this book teach the basic crafting skills needed for these techniques, it offers educational information about yarn and wool. You will learn a bit about picking yarn for projects and what different words on labels mean. Do you know where wool, mohair, angora, cashmere, and silk come from? This book will teach you!

This book also offers several projects so girls can try the techniques shared. You can try your hand at knitting by making a necklace, beaded bracelet, pixie hat, and more. There are several crochet projects shared, including directions for making bags, a choker, and a skull cap. Felting is very popular these days and this book shows you how to make your own felted masterpieces, either by making an item using knitting techniques and felting it or by recycling wool clothing you alredy have.

There are also some great projects you can make to help with your crafting such as a needle roll to store your knitting needles and crocket hooks, and suggestions for creatively personalizing your knitting needles. I think one of my favorite projects in this book, is the felted messanger bag, which is similar to one of the purse projects I have posted - minus the felting.
