Make this elephant trunk out of a paper towel roll.

  • Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 15 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

 

Materials Needed:

Instructions:
Paint the paper towel roll gray. When it is dry, use the scissors to carefully poke two holes near one end, directly across from each other. Cut two pieces of yarn, each about two feet long and tie one end of each piece of yarn into a hole.

You can now tie the trunk around your head on and pretend to be an elephant.

As you can tell by the picture here, Kaitlyn (6 years old) and Ashley (4 years old) from Florida did a great job making the and elephant trunks!
