Materials Needed:
- Paper Bag
- Gesso
- Fabric Label
- Paint
- Furniture Wax
- Paint Brush
- Scissors
Instructions:
Anneliese started off by trimming off the top of the bag to make it shorter. She then painted it with gesso, inside and out. once the gesso was dry, she mixed a little bit of oil paint with furniture wax and painted it onto the bag using a rag. She did this until the bag had the look and feel of leather.
Finally, she attached the fabric label to the bag. For a finishing touch, she punched holes in the top and tied a bow made out of raffia.
