- Age Guideline: 5 Years and Up
- Time Required: 20 minutes (Does not include drying time)
The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Fruit Packing Material
- Wire
- Green Floral Tape
- Modeling Clay
- Construction Paper
- Glitter
- Craft Glue
- Wire Cutters
- Scissors
Instructions:
Start out by making a small ball of modeling clay. Cut a piece of wire however long you want the flower's stem to be. Apply some glue to one end of the wire and insert it into the ball of glue. Flatten the ball just a little bit - this will be the center of the flower - and allow it to dry.
Apply some glue in the center of the fruit packing material and insert the wire in it. Allow it to dry.
Make leaves from green paper, attach a wire to it, and twist it around the flower wire. Wrap the wire with green floral tape.
Decorate the flower and leaves with glitter if you like. The flower is ready.
