Leprechaun Beaded Safety Pin Design

Use this free pattern to make beaded safety pin jewelry that looks like a leprechaun.

  • Age Guideline: 6 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 30 minutes

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

 

Materials Needed:

  • 11 - 1 1/16 inches Safety Pins
  • 1 - 1 3/4 inch Safety Pin
  • Seed Beads (refer to picture for colors needed)

Instructions:
Follow this pattern and the basic directions on the safety pin jewelry page to complete this project.

Each number column represents a pin.

  • Your first pin will have 10 white beads on it.
  • Your second pin will have 5 white beads, 1 green bead, and then 4 white beads.
  • Pin number 3 will have 5 white beads, 1 green bead, 3 orange beads, and 1 white bead.
  • Pin number 4 has 3 green beads, 2 black beads, one green bead, 2 peach beads, and 2 orange beads.
  • Pin number 5 has 2 green beads, 3 yellow beads, 1 green bead, one peach bead, one black bead, one peach bead, and one orange bead.
  • Pin number 6 has 2 green beads, one yellow bead, one black bead, one yellow bead, one green bead, 2 peach beads, one pink beads, and one orange bead.
  • Pin number 7 has 2 green beads, 3 yellow beads, 1 green bead, one peach bead, one black bead, one peach bead, and one orange bead.
  • Pin number 8 has 3 green beads, 2 black beads, one green bead, 2 peach beads, and 2 orange beads.
  • Pin number 9 will have 5 white beads, 1 green bead, 3 orange beads, and 1 white bead.
  • Pin number 10 will have 5 white beads, 1 green bead, and then 4 white beads.
  • Pin number 11 will have 10 white beads on it.

When you thread these beaded pins onto your larger pin, start with pin number 1.
