Guide Review - Creative Computer Crafts

I just couldn't get enough of this book. As a crafter, I was tempted to skip over the first few chapters of information and skip right to the specific craft projects, but as a reviewer I fought that urge. Once I started reading through all the information in the beginning of this book, I was glad I did not skip them.

Don't get me wrong, the specific craft projects are definately the highlight of this book, but the educational information the author, Marcelle Costanza, provides is invaluable. She taught me more about printers than I had ever wanted to know, which is a good thing, and also more about different kinds of printer ink. She also covered topics like choosing and using scanners and digital cameras, and different creativity software you need to create your printable designs. I found the listing of specialty papers extremely interesting, and I can hardly wait to try one or two or three or....

The variety of the projects offered in this book was impressive. Everyone is sure to find something they love. You can make a collection of supplies for your next party, including invitaions, favor bags or boxes, table tents, disposable camera skins, and so on. There are also great gift ideas like shrink charms, decorative mirrors, photo ornaments, t-shirts, and even barbie doll clothes.

You are sure to find something you love in this book. I think my favorite project idea might be the photo display plates. This just may be what all the relatives get for Christmas this year!
