Description
Guide Review - Fast, Fun, and Easy Christmas DecorationsThe projects offered in this book not only make fun decorations for your own home and Christmas tree, but they would also make great gifts you can personalize for everyone on your list. You can create ornaments for Christmas trees, wreaths to hang on doors, advent calendars to help count down the days to Christmas, gingerbread houses that look good enough to eat, and more. All of the projects are made by sandwiching heavy interfacing between two pieces of fabric. Some of these projects require a little sewing so adult supervision or help may be needed to construct the pieces, but kids of all ages can certainly participate in decorating the projects. Personalized ornaments and decorations can be made using fabric paint, jingle bells, ribbon, beads, and just about any other embellishing products you have tucked away in your craft cupboard. My favorite projects in this book are the gift boxes. You can make several colorful boxes that not only make wonderful gifts themselves, but also serves as a unique way to wrap a small gift. I am hoping to make some of these for Christmas and tuck them into the tree for all to admire instead of placing them beneath the tree! Related Guide Picks |
