Santa Puppet Craft

Follow these instructions to make a Christmas Santa Claus puppet using a paper lunch bag.

• Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
• Time Required: 30 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

 

Materials Needed:

• Paper Lunch Bag
• Cotton Balls
• Construction Paper
• Crayons or Markers
• Craft Glue
• Scissors

Instructions:
Leave the bag flat, and draw eyes and a nose on the bottom of the paper bag. For the mouth, draw the top half on the bottom of the bag along the edge with the flap. Draw the bottom half of the mouth below the flap edge.

Print out the Santa's hat pattern below and color it; or, use the pattern below as a guide to cut Santa's hat out of red and white construction paper. Glue the hat onto the paper bag just above the eyes.

For Santa's hair, beard, and mustache, glue on cotton balls!
