How to Make Ornaments Out of Christmas Cards

Tai from NY explains how she displays her Christmas cards by turning them into simple ornaments.

  • Age Guideline: 3 Years and Up
  • Time Required: 15 minutes (Does not include drying time)

The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.

Punch a hole in the top left corner of the card, avoid punching part of a word. Cut 6 inches of ribbon and thread it through the hole. Tie both end together in a tight knot.

Use the greeting cards as tree ornaments. This is a great way to keep cards because you won't destroy them so you can read them year after year. After Christmas you can store the cards in a box until next Christmas comes around, and If you continue to turn more cards into ornaments, your collection of card ornaments will certainly grow!
